After a great amount of deliberation and discussion it has been decided by Urmston & District Scouts that we will no longer have a St Georges Day Parade.

The cost of marshalling the parade takes up over half of the District’s spend each year (£1600). The decision to not parade, will enable us to use that money more effectively and have a specific St Georges Day event of which the first one will be in  2026.
